Ken the Wolf Boy

.
/* */
This was one of the first anime that Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahada had worked on and Toei Animation's first TV show. This was a dub of the pilot episode that featured Don Messick and Daws Butler. (Misdirected, I might add)
http://cartoonresearch.com/index.php/ken-the-wolf-boy-1963/

Lun Lun the Flower Child

.
/* */
Here's an anime obscurity that Fred Patten discovered. http://cartoonresearch.com/index.php/anime-fandom-in-north-america-part-2/

Fujimaru of the Wind

.
/* */
Another '60s anime that was originally known as Ishimaru of the Wind. http://cartoonresearch.com/index.php/fujimaru-of-the-wind-1964/

Devilman

.
/* */
Now here's a show from Go Nagai that isn't as widely known as Mazinger Z or our next show. http://cartoonresearch.com/index.php/the-many-programs-of-go-nagai/

Cutie Honey (1973)

.
/* */
The original fan service show, and here's the straight-to-video sequel:

.
/* */
Two things worth mentioning about the 1994 version: One) There were four episodes that were scripted, but not animated. Two) Go Nagai personally chose Jessica Calvello as the voice of Kisaragi Honey.

Norakuro

.
/* */
This series was inspired by Otto Messmer's Felix the Cat, just like a lot of Japanese cartooning back then. http://cartoonresearch.com/index.php/norakuro/

The Bear That Wasn't

.
/* */
Based off of a story that Frank Tashlin did in 1948, Chuck Jones decided to tweak what Tashlin did without consulting him first. For example, The bear got cigarettes and coffee. Thus, Tashlin was pissed at what Jones did. Michael Sporn has scans of the book if anyone is interested: http://www.michaelspornanimation.com/splog/?p=7442

The Cato Institute on The Digital Millennium Copyright Act
http://www.cato.org/publications/policy-analysis/circumventing-competition-perverse-consequences-digital-millennium-copyright-act
As a adamant supporter of the Cato Institute and the Libertarian Party, I have to agree with this study has stated completely. Therefore, I urge everyone to read this.

Anybody who does pixel art ought to check this out.

Frank Miller's website

Yep, here's the web log of the comics legend. A word of warning, you may not like what he posts.

How Cubase originated
http://tamw.atari-users.net/cubase.htm
Yep, it started out on the Atari ST.

GunLord (Neo Geo and Dreamcast)

.
/* */
Turrican meets Contra with a hero in a badass suit of armor.

Soulless (Commodore 64)

.
/* */
A really cool Platformer for the C64. Here's the Hardcore Gaming 101 Article: http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/soulless/soulle ss.htm

Edge Grinder (C64 and Amstrad CPC)

.
/* */
Zaku (Atari Lynx)

.
/* */
I have mentioned this long ago, but thought it was worth mentioning a second time.

Pier Solar (Sega Genesis)

.
/* */
Here's something for Genesis owners, especially those with the Sega CD. The official website: http://www.piersolar.com/

Beggar Prince (Sega Genesis)

.
/* */
Another RPG, but this is from Super Fighter Team. They have also made...

Star Odyssey

.
/* */
This game was actually made back in 1991, but wasn't released until now.

This is all I have for now, but this could be the start of something interesting.

Here's a really interesting game for the Sega Saturn game that appears to be a precursor to Strider 2 in terms of graphics.

Fun Fact: This game got rejected from Steam due to its disturbing content.

I'm planning on making a feature on New games for old systems; something that Tom and co. should consider.

Even though the creator says that this is Psytrance, the song he's playing feels more like a trippy Latin house song.

.
/* */
I like how this guy used a Roland JP8000 in this Goa tune.

This guy is also into Reason and Studio One. That, and his use of an older model Electribe.

Oh, and I just released a new song called Space Tunnel.

This, fellow NG users, is Oatmeal. Oatmeal is a VST instrument that is not only free, but is very powerful if you know what you're doing. In addition, it has a drawable waveform mode for those who are into that. It can be found at http://lesitedeburnie.free.fr/Oatmeal/

Here's something that I've known about for a while now and wanted to show you. Especially to all of those Acid fans out there. Acid, in Electronic music terms, is House, Techno, or Trance music that uses TB-303 synthesizers for either bass lines or leads. Here's an example:

Oh, and I thought I'd show this again:

First, here's a cool as shit song done with one:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VcxV1-MwEg
And here's a how-to from Korg:

Here's a Nebulophone:

Tempest Analog Drum Machine:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAZfJ3xH74I

Regarding E.D.M. equipment: I've been thinking about getting either a Kaossilator Pro, a DSI Tempest, or an Electribe (either MX or SX), but don't know if LMMS supports them.

Game stuff:
The First Funky Fighter
This game is an interesting cross between Maddox, Evil Dave, Assassin, and Riki-Oh mixed together.
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/firstfunkyfight er/firstfunkyfighter.htm

Kakuto Chojin
An early X-Box fighting game that had a African named Asad, which lead to it being recalled.
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/kakutochojin/ka kutochojin.htm

Oh, and something is wrong with the video embed, so that's why there's only links.
Edit: Here's some more Electribe/Kaossilator videos:

Does anyone here remember Flashback for the PC, Super NES, Genesis, Sega CD, and Amiga? Well, it just so happens that they're in the process of remaking it, and tit's not good:
http://www.wayofthepixel.net/index.php?topic=151 10.0

Honestly, it looks like every other game on X-Box 360 and Playstation 3, which isn't complementary. In other words, it really explains why I'm not impressed with Hi-Definition at all and my support for A) the guys who make new games for old systems; and B) the gold that Nintendo, Atari, Sega, and numerous other companies were able to smite.

For those wondering about the latest Disney feature:

http://the-animatorium.blogspot.com/2013/02/the-
most-influential-animations-you_11.html

I am going to be honest with you by saying that I lost interest in Disney back in 1998 and aside from Disneyquest and Tron Legacy; they haven't had anything worth watching. (By the way, this also includes Pixar.) I mean, this looks incredibly banal even by modern Disney standards, and makes me not regret letting them go all those years ago. On the other hand, I still watch old Disney cartoons from the late '20s to the early '50s, along with The Black Hole and Tron.
