I've gotten back to playing Star Ocean, and it is still one of the best RPGs ever made. I haven't played the sequels, but judging from the videos from the PSP remake; I like the Super NES/Super Famicom original in terms of graphics, music and gameplay. Plus, it had both English and Japanese voices; one of those voices being done by Robert Belgrade from CV: Symphony of the Night, Mega Man X7, and Press Start. Why Square Enix and Tri-Ace port it to the DS is a mystery to me. However, I still like the DS port of Chrono Trigger though.
