Atari Lynx Ep. 4

Posted by FightingSeraph - June 4th, 2012

Hard Drivin'

This is the only handheld version of this arcade game, and it's quite an achievement considering the platform.

Hydra

Another Atari arcade port.

Lemmings

Of all of the handheld versions, this turned out to be the most accurate to the original Amiga game.

Viking Child

The Lynx equivalent to Wonder Boy in Monster Land.

Warbirds

A WWI flight game.

Fidelity Ultimate Chess Challenge

A nice chess game that I also used to own.

Switchblade II

A good port of the Amiga game, but it didn't have any music.

Xybots

Another arcade port, this time it's a precursor to Wolfenstein 3D. The arcade game in question had some cool robot voices.

Ninja Gaiden

The Lynx was the only system to get a port of the original Ninja Gaiden arcade game aside from the computer ports. Too bad they didn't get to port Ninja Gaiden II.

Alien Vs Predator

The only FPS that the Lynx ever had. Update: I goofed considering the existence of Cyber Virus.

If anyone is wondering why most of these videos have no sound; blame The Atari Lynx Channel for not recording any.
Update 2: Here's some Castle Crashers Fanart from ConceptArt.org's Davi Blight.
