I'm talking about darker stuff like Aeon Flux, Dungeons & Dragons, Sledge Hammer, and (to a lesser extent) C.O.P.S. Even though Adult Swim was created for this; most of its limited resources go to comedy (and this is coming from someone who loves Robot Chicken). We don't need anymore family-friendly stuff right now; and we don't need anymore episodes of The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, or Futurama (as much as I like Matt Groening, Dan Castellaneta, Billy West, John DiMaggio, Hank Azaria, Phil LaMarr, Alex Borstein, and Seth McFarlane; sometimes enough is enough). Of course, there's the new Justice League move that got released; but that isn't enough. Now if Peter Chung had the balls, budget, and time to make something new...

I quit watching South Park over a year ago for the following reasons:

1. Too much 3d and Particle effects.
Seriously, no one watches these kinds of cartoons for special effects. That's what the X-box 360 is for (and this is coming from a Wii owner). I'm all for the use of 3D effects in 2D cartoons when they're used sparingly, but they use them too damned much.
2. Same shit, different current event.
This is why the first three seasons of the show are better than the latest ones. The stories were simplistic and the show just relied on profanity and Kenny getting killed almost all the time. Nowadays, they take any current event and go over the top with it to the point where completely misses the point.
3. Piss-poor jokes.
I'm getting sick of movie references and sight gags as a form of humor. Is it really necissary to spoof indie and mainstream movies every scene? Don't get me started on their sight gags; they're an insult to Tex Avery and Chuck Jones.

Truth is, I respect Trey Parker and Matt Stone as filmmakers; but it's best that they stick to the big screen.

In advent of Raiden X, Strikers 1945, R-Type, and Reginald Nowe's Gradius clone; It's high time to remake some lesser-known games:
1. Thunder Force: The Thunder Force series started on Sharp and NEC's PCs in 1983 as a Xevious-meets-Vanguard II game. Due to the fact that Technosoft had no experience with NES or SMS hardware; It was never ported to either one of those systems. This was corrected with TFII for the Sharp X68000 and the Sega Genesis. The Link has more info than I can write.

2. Darius: Not many people know about this, but just look for "Darius (Arcade Game)" on wikipedia if you want to know.

I've decided to take a little column that almost no one read and bring it here.
First target: Hugo Chavez
The man claimed he wanted to end corruption in Venezuela. Did he live up to his end of the deal? Nope. Instead of making things better; he made things worse by getting government involved in things that government shouldn't be in the first place (oil, schools, healthcare, etc.). If that isn't bad enough, the man appointed his friends and supporters into the Caracas government. So much, in fact, that at least 56 percent of Venezuelans either dislike or outright hate him. What's even worse is that Venezuela is one of the least economically free nations in the western hemisphere. If you don't know what that means, here is an explanation: It's harder to do business in Venezuela than it is in Louisiana. Throw in the fact that the man is fucking paranoid out the wazoo. Not even that asshole radio host Clyde Lewis could match Chavez in the paranoia department.

I have done something that should spruce up my animations: an intro. Too bad I don't have it uploaded on here yet.

What if you were wrong all along? Would you swallow your pride and accept the correction while risking your image that your supporters created? Or would you discard it and continue your little superstition while drifting towards fanaticism and insanity?

Isn't it ironic that many of these activist groups who claim to be for Freedom of Speech, yet when someone says something that upsets their small-minded world view; they go apeshit and attack the offender in various ways possible. It's funny that Right-wing Xtians consider Abortion murder, yet Catholic and Protestant Christianity has been synonymous with more death and destruction than legalized abortion and communism combined (Islam is not innocent either, but I'm saving them for later). The last thing that the likes of 9-11-01 denier Jim Fetzer and Panther Zora (Michelle Malkin) want is people challenging their dogmatic beliefs with well-informed arguments and hard facts. Many of you will say that Limbaugh and Hannity are exceptions to what I'm arguing here; they aren't. You know why? They never have challenged someone with a dissenting view who can debate as good as them. Therefore, consider themselves bulletproof until Penn & Teller call them up to the plate on an episode of Bullshit! The notion of Islam being a religion of peace is a faulty perception when the Qur'an advocates prejudice, cruelty, superstition, and murder (much like the Bible). Yet the leftists refuses to accept this reality even when Sam Harris has to spoon feed it to them. It's also funny when enviromental groups want everyday people like myself to live in shacks in the name of the enviroment; yet they won't give up their Rhode Island-sized mansions to live spartan in such places as Ruddock, LA since the denizens there stir up paranoia and generalizations not rooted in fact (just like their stupid disaster prophecies). Hell, they want to keep the third world piss poor by blocking mines in Romania, Madagascar, and Chile just because a Canadian corporation named Gabriel Resources is not run by a leftist. Because of that, the impoverished people in Africa and Chile have to cut down the jungle just to feed their families (smart move dipshits, forcing poor people to take down the surrounding forest in the name of saving the enviroment; talking about tarnished double haloes). When someone such as Steve Milloy digs up shit about their scare stories and says that their full of shit; they go apeshit. Now you (the reader) know why Patrick Moore left GreenPeace. The left thinks that government can do things better than private enterprise, yet that train of thought has been discredited worldwide. Businesses, unlike government, have every reason to compete with each other because that is how living standards are raised and individuals prosper. Then there's the other side of the spectrum; the religious right. I'm not just going to focus on one specific religion (christianity); rather I'm going after Islam and the Dalai Lama's sect of Bhuddism. The idea that Christianity is a religion that is in favor of peace, love, sanctity of life, etc. isn't what it is about. Islam is also guilty of this and it needs to be mentioned. First of all, Xtianity has been synonymous with murder, destruction, jingoism, hate, brutality, and superstition. Here's a short list of things that the word of Christ has been synonymous with:
Emperor Constantine killing off heretics
-The crusades and numerous other religious wars
-The Inquisitions
-The Salem witch trials
-The Holocaust (Hitler and most of the Nazis were Catholic)
-The AIDS Epidemic Exploitation
Throw in Mother Teresa's order which kept the have-nots in squalor and with body counts like that; it's no wonder why that religion has a nasty stigma. As for the Native American wars and the Africa conquests; here's some things that are also disturbing yet true:
-The Native Americans have been fighting and killing each other long before European settlers set foot.
-Slavery has been in Africa since ancient times.
It may be ridiculous at first glance, but there is evidence that supports those facts. Then there's Islam and it's rampant fanaticism. It's astonishing that many of the Iraq war supporters ignore the fact that this war has given the fanatics a justification for their cause. Yet they still want our troops there just because of the progress we have made so far (which isn't saying much). Islam's history hasn't been pleasant, but they haven't cleaned up their act for fear of violating Islamic law. Truth be told, I have a few friends who are muslims; and so far no problems. Just what are the chances of finding Muslim terrorist cells in the likes of Slidell, Montgomery, Wichita, Salt Lake City, Boise, Pierre, Fargo, North Platt, or Jackson? Slim to none, when compared to the Eco-terrorists or Xtian Zealots. Speaking of terrorists, laws that were intended to stop terrorists (ie The PATRIOT Act) have caught next to no terrorists, and at the same time wasted taxpayer money, gave preditory/corrupt Federal agents another excuse to raid people's homes, and gave conspiracy theorists another justification for their cause.

Honestly, there's hardly any differences between the two (just like John Wayne Gacy, Jr. and that skinny pecker in Florida). They're both obcessive, speak with an obnoxious rhythym and cadence (read: speech pattern), think their funny when they really piss me off, loved by a shitload of people with not much in opinion diversity, prattle about stuff that they don't like (Gangsta Rap for O'Reilly; Any southerner who isn't Al Gore, Jr. or Willy J. Clinton for Colbert), deny that their favorite politicians have done any wrongdoing, etc. Other than Mind of Mencia; There's no reason to watch Comedy Central (Comedy Inc. in Canada) anymore. South Park is formulaic, contrived, boring, and above all, stupid; The Daily Show hasn't been funny since Craig Kilborn left; Drawn Together was dull and boring; Chappelle's Show choked and died (blame studio politics); Freakshow was never funny to begin with; and I'm too goddamned tired to bitch about this shit anymore.

Even though I'm a writer myself, I think it's best if the strike ran its course. After all, there's no point in getting involved in a conflict if it turns out to be a lose-lose situation. I am neither liberal/marxist nor conservative and consider the idea of having to choose between the two appalling. I, like Jack Angel, have several cartoon series in development. Plus, I am still getting my animation skills up to snuff.

My thoughts on the Writer's Guild Strike.

Don't you outright hate it when some prick pokes fun at you in the most arrogant, hateful ways possible? Doesn't it piss you off when base their joke off of faulty notions that if challenged enough, will fall apart? Well, it turns out that belch.com, the internet's largest record of digitally recorded belches, thought it could get away with such demogoguery disguised as humor. It's ironic when someone like that site's webmaster rips on people with such tasteless and cruel raillery, but as soon as he ends up in the hot seat and subject to the same insult comedy; he goes apeshit. As for the article itself, what that swindler did was pathetic, but that site's webmaster is an asshole among assholes. The kind of people that would make serial killer Ted Bundy seem worthy of the Congressional Gold Medal. Here's the link for those who are interested for why I'm upset: http://www.belch.com/blog/2007/12/06/f ools-and-their-money/

Just to make things clear: I hate Britney Spears' music, evacuated before Hurricane Katrina made landfall, hate Ray Nagin, don't believe in Santa Claus, despise Xtianity, and eat crawfish.
