Proof that Em Kaah still kicks ass!

Em, it has been a long time since you visited this site, and in spite of your absence; your shit still withstands the test of time. Sure, the jpegs are of low export quality and the killer's details make him look rather muddy, but content wise: it was pretty funny. I also liked how had the subtitles as manditory rather than optional than Goldilocks 2. Truth is, I don't mind the Clock Crew as long as they make good cartoons and don't annoy the shit out of others.

What I liked:
-Pretty funny
-Decent use of gradients
-Nice music selection
-The mix of Text-to-speech and actual voices.

What I didn't like:
-Low quality jpegs are a bit distracting.

Overall: Here's a nine out of ten for you Em Kaah; and I would like for you to hurry up with Goldilocks 3.

Innovative!

For something that was done in charcoal with a kneaded eraser; you did an excellent job on this. It may not have the best animation, nor the longest; but you got a daily first place, and you should be glad with what you got.

What I did like:
-Something that has not been done before.
-Nice song you chose.

What I didn't like:
-The Filesize, but that affects those with dial-up connections.

Overall: Is a ten out of ten up to your standards?

Captain responds:

10 out of 10 is well above my standards for this :P

And we really tried to push the file size lower but this was as low as we could get it, sorry dial-up people.

It may be more of the same...

...but you directed, timed, and choreographed it superbly! Plus, the fact that you're going through all this to fill in the blanks is something I admire. Aside from that, Gel recommended that you should add more perspectives such as two-point. Nothing wrong with the standard one-point, but it adds some more variety. Musicwise, Cheshyre has created another kickass score that fits the action that you're portraying. Unfortunately, It should have been looped because it ended long before the movie did. After seeing all of the other Madness cartoons; I noticed that you have improved quite a bit in the actual animation.

What I liked about this:
-Great directing, timing, and choreography.
-Decent character development
-Excellent song choice
-The code that accentuated what Tricky the Clown was saying shows that put the Character Map to good use.

What I didn't like:
-Song wasn't looped.
-Same as the other Madness cartoons, which isn't as bad as your detractors say it is.

Overall: Krinkels, here's a nine for doing this swell jewel. As much as I would like to see the other side stories; try more quirky, original cartoons like that Nasty Pig short.

Not bad, but it needs improvement.

Knox, I would like to say "Welcome Back to NG." Unlike Legendary Frog, your return was needed. However, this needs a bit of improvement and I will have to explain. While I don't mind your blob characters, you could have animated their walk cycles a bit more. On the other hand, comedy doesn't need great animation, just enough to get the point across; and that's the way it should be on Newgrounds. As for the humor, mildly funny and simple. Nothing bad with that because not everything has to be like Rats on Cocaine (Dean Packis rules). However, your character voices need improvement, even though that's part of the joke; just like Eskimo Bob.

What I do like:
-Good image quality
-Mildly funny
-Good animation for clay

What I did not like:
-Voice acting could be better.
-The characters could use better walk and run cycles.

Overall: Knox, here's your seven out of ten. As for future NG submissions, you should do more Newgrounds Deathmatch cartoons; I know plenty of flash cartoonists/voice actors/characters who deserve to be put in the ring.

Knox responds:

well keep in mind that i made this claymaton a year ago haha. i still got like 6-7 more to upload.

Excellent 3D animation!

With that out the way, I'll give both of you guys what I honestly thought.

To Chris: Your characters reminded me of Reboot and Toy Story; although they could have had faster animation. On the other hand, the actual animation is assloads better than Battle For the Portal by SecretAgentBob. The video quality is also better than most video submissions that are on this site. As for the directing, the angles you chose made it shine and not in a gaudy kind of way. The vehicles were accurately rendered, which is a plus. I can't model anything in 3D besides simple shapes, but I approve of your skills. Plus, I liked how you used that Theramin sound in that one moment.

To Rodrigo: I liked how did the voice, even though you're not as good as Egoraptor or Sam Haft. Beside that, I noticed that you wrote a response to those who downrate video submissions. I see where you are coming from (I wrote a rant on my page on that subject myself), but could have went after a less abashed subject.

What I did like:
-Excellent 3D modeling and animation
-Decent voice acting
-Good choice of camera angles

What I didn't like:
-Some of the animation, most notably the blood, the cop reaching for the gun, could have been done better.

Overall: For a 3D submission, this easily one of the better, if not one of the best 3D cartoons on here. Here's a nine out of ten, and have you guys checked out Swift 3D or Milkshape 3D?

A tad underrated...

This is a nice mix of imported graphics, prerendered 3d, and realtime 3d. I liked how you directed all of this and put gradients to good use. However, the music was unfitting and the lack of sound effects are the only noticeable flaws in this diamond in the rough. On the other hand, the aforementioned directing, cinematography, and choreography along with the 3D skills you had more than made up for it. It's no wonder McFretN likes this.

What I like about this:
-Excellent directing and pace
-Nice use of Flat, realtime 3D and prerendered 3D.
-Proper use of gradients
-Decent spaceplane design.

What I didn't like:
-Lack of sound effects
-Unfitting music

Overall: Here's a nine for doing one of the better 3D flash submissions, Mattias. If you have the chance, you should make some more.

This is an underappreciated gem.

Krinkels, this is easily one of the most inventive cartoons on here. A lot of people who believe this has something to do with Pig Flu when it has nothing to do with that non-issue in the first place. I noticed that Yungjazz downrated this, and it may be his opinion; but seeing that he does nothing but Necropolis (nothing wrong with that). He's in no position to criticize you. With that out of the way, onto the actual review...

When it comes to art and animation, it's simplistic yet gets the point across. However, the pig's walk cycle could have been better and SULKINGking mentioned the misplaced speed limit sign. Truth is, cartoons on here don't need to match Adam Phillips in terms of animation; just enough to get the point across. Musicwise, I'm not very familiar with Juke Bottle Casino, yet I liked the song you chose. As for the meaning behind this, I'm not going to bother explaining it to others on here. I'd like for them to figure it out for themselves.

What I like:
-Decent art with passable animation.
-Good song choice.
-I chuckled at the part where the driver and the pig were staring at each other.
-Original, but that matters little when compared the final product.

What I didn't like:
-Few people such as myself will get the meaning behind this. (Assuming that there is one in the first place.)
-The pig's legs could use a better walk cycle.
-Why is the speed limit sign facing the pig?

Overall: Here's a nine for this bizarre, but enjoyable non-Madness cartoon. If you have the opportunity, I'd like for you to do more stuff like this.

Simple, but effective.

Those words some it up in a nutshell, but I'm going to get more detailed here. While the characters may be simple in design; they manage to get the story across. Plus, I liked that 3D head rotation you did for Bua. Segmented arms and legs may not be anything special, but it was done much better than Legendary Frog. Plus, I liked those angles that you chose for this and the pacing is also great. Soundwise, I liked how you had the music convey the story rather than spoken voice. Seeing that you're from Thailand, few people would be put off by any voices that you did yourself. While the sound effects are minimal, that doesn't matter much in this kind of animation. The only flaw is that this cartoon needs a fast computer unless set to low quality due to lag.

What I liked:
-Great directing
-Nice character designs
-Sufficient animation to get the point across.
-Good music selection

What I don't like:
-Requires a fast computer for high quality.
-Not everyone will like the story or character designs.

Overall: Here's an eight for doing something different, but good enough to be put on the front page. I would like to see more cartoons from you though.

Short, but sweet!

Oney, you have proved that how long a cartoon is doesn't matter; especially when it's funny. Even though John K's style is getting a bit stale, you have put it to good use. The voice acting and music are at TV quality, which when compared to most of the voiced cartoons on here; is saying something. As for the humor, not as funny as Fred-The Animated Series (which reminds me of Assassin I might add); yet I still laughed. Plus, I also liked that subtle jab at Disney you did.

What I liked:
-Funny
-Good art and animation
-Good voice acting and music

What I don't like:
-The John K style is starting to get a bit stale, just like anime derivitves.
-Not as funny as Fred TAS.

Overall: Here's a nine out of ten, and you should do some more stuff when you get the chance.

I've been on here for over a decade and have a high level, so fucking what? Regarding my MSN and Trillian accounts: Request to be added.
